Snapchat Introduces Ad-Free Subscription Tier With Platinum Plan

Snapchat has introduced a new premium subscription tier, Snapchat+ Platinum, offering users an ad-free experience—for a significantly higher price. The new option, which appears to have been quietly rolled out in recent weeks, allows subscribers to use the platform without Sponsored Snaps, Story ads, or Lens ads.

According to Snapchat, the Platinum plan eliminates most forms of advertising, although users may still encounter sponsored locations and ad content within My AI responses. This marks a notable shift for the platform, as advertising remains its primary revenue source – but this platinum package may be priced high enough to offset this.
