Aisle Network Marks 11th Anniversary With Changes To Premium Model

Aisle, the Indian dating app geared towards fostering meaningful connections, is celebrating its 11th anniversary with a significant change to its subscription model. From July 2025, the platform has introduced weekly premium plans starting at just ₹99 (£0.86, or $1.14), offering users a more flexible and lower-cost way to access enhanced features. This was shared in a private press release by the company earlier today.

The new structure is a departure from Aisle’s existing longer-duration subscription tiers, designed to give users greater control over their dating journey by reducing financial barriers and aligning with their app usage and preferences. This move reflects the company’s long-standing emphasis on intentional dating rather than casual swiping or gamified features.

Launched in 2014, Aisle pioneered a slower, intentional approach to digital dating in India, building deep matches through conversational interfaces rather than endless form-filling or superficial filters. Over the years, the platform expanded its reach with regional-language offerings – like Arike (Malayalam), Neene (Kannada), Anbe (Tamil), and Neetho (Telugu)—to serve diverse cultural communities across India. Aisle continues to maintain around one million monthly active users, with regional apps accounting for a significant portion of its total 30 million-strong user base.

This anniversary pricing shift not only makes the platform’s premium features more affordable and flexible, but also means that users aren’t stuck with a longer premium plan if they find a suitable match early on. Whether it will be a permanent change for the platform remains to be seen, but given its recent offering of free premium features to female users, this kind of premium-focused campaign makes a lot of sense for the platform..
