LinkedIn has introduced a limited six-month trial of Notion Plus – including Notion AI – to its Premium subscribers. The move, revealed on July 22, allows eligible users to access advanced productivity tools within Notion, such as unlimited blocks and workspace AI features, without extra cost.
This collaboration is part of LinkedIn’s broader strategy to boost Premium engagement by integrating external software that aids productivity. Notion co‑founder Akshay Kothari emphasized that the partnership aligns particularly well with job seekers and small business owners – who often leverage Notion for tasks like tracking applications and preparing for interviews – suggesting AI will enhance these use cases.
Importantly, the trial applies to current LinkedIn Premium members across various plans – Career, Business, Sales Navigator, and Recruiter Lite. Access involves claiming the perk via the LinkedIn Perks section and creating or converting an existing Notion workspace
LinkedIn currently boasts approximately 175 million Premium subscribers, representing around 18% of its total user base. This places LinkedIn ahead of competing subscription services like X Premium and Snapchat+, and even surpasses YouTube Premium in terms of uptake . For professionals and creators, Premium provides advantages such as InMail credits, profile visibility enhancements, resume guidance, and access to additional data insights. The Notion integration bolsters this value by delivering tangible productivity tools beyond LinkedIn’s platform.
