StockLink Launches Dedicated Social Media Platform for Livestock Industry

A new social media app tailored specifically to the livestock sector has officially entered the market. StockLink, launched this week, is now available nationwide on iOS and Android. The platform was designed to address long-standing frustrations among producers who say traditional social channels often limit or remove livestock-related content.

The app was developed by Kaitlyn and Chris Hofschulte, who were motivated after Facebook deleted their business page for Hofschulte Genetics in 2019. The removal erased years of content and customer relationships, prompting the couple to create a platform where livestock promotion could happen without the risk of sudden takedowns.

“StockLink was built because our industry deserves better,” said co-founder Kaitlyn Hofschulte. “We needed a platform where producers can promote, connect, and grow without the fear of being shut down for selling livestock. So we built it ourselves.”

Unlike mainstream networks, StockLink incorporates tools specifically for breeders and producers. Content is organized into separate categories for general posts, listings, and business pages, making it easier for users to find and promote information. The platform also allows sales and genetic promotions that are typically restricted elsewhere. StockLink is free to use, though an optional Business Pro subscription offers features like analytics, priority search placement, and branded company profiles.
